As an overview of our process, aircraft acquisition is a 7-step process that we make simple. We manage every detail of the search, negotiation, contracts, inspection, registration and delivery, and project and report on each step along the way.

Depending on the size and complexity of the transaction, the process typically takes 1-2 months. All transactions are Escrow-coordinated, and the aircraft is delivered to you fully registered and mission-ready.



Mission Evaluation
Confirm your target budget, operating cost, annual fixed cost, travel range, passenger loads and acquisition schedule.


Aircraft Search
Identify potential acquisition targets based on preferences and requirements through online searches, off-market resources and industry contacts.


Purchase Offer
Determine optimum acquisition pricing for identified aircraft targets and submit formal offers (typically with a soft escrow deposit).


Pre-Buy Inspection
Manage aircraft evaluation towards satisfying manufacturer-required inspections to reduce going-in maintenance costs (all major repair items at Seller’s expense); coordinate inspection schedule, scope and cost with appropriate maintenance facility.


Aircraft Acceptance
Confirm inspection has satisfied all discrepancies and aircraft is in an acceptable condition to proceed to Closing (escrow deposit becomes non-refundable).


Coordinate through Escrow all required FAA filings and required documentation associated with aircraft purchase and transfer of ownership; closing budget circulated and final funds deposited in Escrow towards Closing; insurance binder is confirmed.


Submit Delivery Receipt Letter and coordinate aircraft pick-up (or delivery, depending on aircrew logistics) following escrow funds distribution and final FAA filings; Omni Aircraft Sales manages all engine and avionics program transfers, along with all ownership/operations support services requested by client.
